Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to review our work and reach us, including people who rely on assistive technology. This site is built and tested to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the standard referenced for the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
What is built in
- Full keyboard operability with a visible gold focus indicator on every control, a skip-to-content link on every page, and a mobile menu that keeps focus inside itself while it is open
- Respect for reduced-motion preferences: animations, parallax and smooth scrolling are disabled at both the script and stylesheet level when your system requests less motion
- Semantic landmarks, one heading outline per page and descriptive page titles, so screen readers can move through the site by structure
- An inquiry form built from native controls: labelled fields, real radio groups with arrow-key navigation, an instruction wherever a choice moves you to the next step, error messages that are announced and receive focus, and a spoken status while your inquiry sends
- Colour contrast of at least 4.5:1 for text and 3:1 for control boundaries and large type, including text that sits over photography, which is backed by scrims measured against the actual images
- Links and the current-page marker distinguished by shape as well as colour, and touch targets of at least 24 by 24 pixels
- Layouts that reflow without sideways scrolling at 320 pixels wide and at 200% zoom, and that survive user text-spacing overrides
- Descriptive alternative text on project photography
How it was checked
In September 2026 every page and interactive state was run through automated testing (axe-core, WCAG 2.2 A and AA rules) and reviewed by hand: keyboard-only navigation, focus order and visibility, screen reader semantics, browser zoom, text spacing, reduced motion, and contrast sampled from the rendered pixels rather than assumed. Issues found were fixed before this statement was published. Automated tools cannot certify conformance on their own, so we treat this as an ongoing obligation rather than a one-time badge.
Known limitations
Some photographs show complex construction scenes and finished venues; their alternative text summarizes what matters rather than describing every detail. Where copy sits over photography, its contrast was verified against the current images and will be re-checked whenever imagery changes. If a photograph, page or interaction does not work with your technology, we would like to know.
Tell us
If anything on this site is in your way, please reach us through the inquiry form and describe what happened and what you were using. We will respond and work to fix it.
